Join us for the The Royal Run 5K — a beautiful run through the Old Mill area and along the Deschutes River, with a mixture of paved paths and groomed trails. As in previous years, there will be a new twist to this year’s race. This year’s race will start at the Les Schwab Amphitheater Ticket Office under the Start/Finish Arch. Have little prince and princesses that want to join in on the fun? Register them for the Kids Hot Cocoa Run, a part of the Kids Rock the Races Series!

The 2021 Salmon Run makes its debut this year at Pronghorn Resort in Bend, Oregon. Get ready for the brand new Half Marathon, 10K and 5k course runs.

Celebrate the local flavor of Central Oregon during the region’s largest food festival. The Bite of Bend is a three-day food party on the streets of downtown Bend! Stop into the Mixology Showcaseand try the newest spirits from our region; Make the Bite of Bend Beer Run an annual June tradition and get the kids on the move with the Root Beer Run where they get to celebrate with a root beer float. Fun doesn’t stop on Sunday, Bite Week proceeds with social coursed dinners and classes aplenty.

Make the Bite of Bend Beer Run an annual June tradition! The Bite of Bend Beer Run sends participants along a 5k race loop through Drake Park along the Deschutes River and back through Columbia Park, enjoying the fine beer from 10 BarrelCascade Lakes,Deschutes & Immersion breweries along the way. Bonus prizes are awarded to participants in best costume! Get the kids in the action too—check out the Little Hopper Root Beer Run, a part of the Kids Rock the Races Series, on Saturday, June 13th!

Enjoying 29 years of kicking off the summer season, the First Interstate Bank Bend Summer Festival draws 35,000 visitors for a weekend like no other. Festival features fine artists and craftspeople, artisans and performers, and three stages of some of the best regional and national blues, rock and jazz.

Balloons Over Bend is a fun-filled weekend across Central Oregon with many of opportunities to witness the awe-inspiring flight of hot air balloons. Daily activities Friday through Sunday will include the Children’s Festival, launches, meet and greets with pilots, up-close balloons experiences and the always enticing Night Glow. Get the kids in the action too—check out the Balloon Blast Kids Race, a part of the Kids Rock the Races Series, on Friday, July 24th!

Featuring a 6.5-mile course (dubbed the “Half As”), a half marathon and full marathon, the race is also a part of the Oregon Half & Full Marathon Series. The cherry on the top is the race is Central Oregon’s only full trail marathon — featuring trails that wind through the Wanoga Sno-Park, showcasing scenic forestland and beautiful views.
