Dear Happy Girls,
Unfortunately, due to looming government mandates and concern regarding the spread of COVID-19, we are forced to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Happy Girls Bend Runs. We know that you have been working hard training and preparing and we could not be more disappointed. We hope you understand that we will seriously miss seeing each and every one of you this May!
In order to remain positive and continue your training trajectory, we are suggesting that you transfer your registration to another one of Lay It Out Events’ upcoming races later in the year. This not only boosts your fitness goals but really does support the local running community and promoters. Options include:
1. Transfer your race entry to the Haulin’ Aspen race which takes place in Bend on August 8, 2020. Race distances include the marathon, half marathon and the “half-as” (6.5-miler). With this option you will receive 20% off one future race entry.
2. Transfer your race entry to the Happy Girls Sisters Runs which takes place in Sisters on November 7, 2020. Race distances include the half marathon and 5k. With this option you will receive 20% off one future race entry.
3. Transfer your race entry to the Bend Beer Run, a 5K with four beer stops, which takes place at the Bite of Bend on June 14. With this option your will receive 20% off one future race entry.
4. Defer your race entry to the 2021 Happy Girls Bend Run.
