Bend, Ore. — The Bite of Bend, Central Oregon’s premier food festival, returns to downtown Bend June 14-16, 2019. Come one, come all—and come hungry—to taste delicious food from around the Pacific Northwest. Restaurants, food carts and caterers will offer “Bites”; a unique one to two-dollar dish representative of their cuisine.
Bringing together chefs, bartenders, brewers, food enthusiasts, home cooks, and local food purveyors for a three-day food party on the streets of downtown Bend, the Bite of Bend celebrates imaginative food and drink concoctions from around the region. Guests will enjoy the Fine Foods & Crafts Marketplace and Conscious Living Showcase, Top Chef and Bartender’s Brawl competitions, meeting regional distillers at the Mixology Showcase, partying at the Bite of Bend Beer Run, keeping the kids entertained at the Family Play Zone and more.

This is more than a 5K—it’s a full-on party at every pit stop. The Bite of Bend Beer Run sends participants along a 5K race loop through Drake Park along the Deschutes River, with beer breaks hosted by Immersion, Cascade Lakes, 10 Barrel and Deschutes breweries along the way. Bring a group of friends—and don’t forget to dress up. Bonus prizes are awarded to participants in the best costume. Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 12pm at Crow’s Feet Commons courtyard. New this year! Mix it up at Cocktail Week — June 10-14, 2019
The Source Weekly and Trailhead Liquor present Cocktail Week — a week-long celebration of the Central Oregon cocktail scene culminating with the Mixology Showcase and Bartender’s Brawl at the 2019 Bite of Bend! Eight bars and restaurants will each be paired up with one of eight local distilleries to create a unique cocktail featuring the distillery’s spirits.
