The Kids Center is a Bend intervention and diagnostic service center that
provides abused children with a safe and friendly place to begin healing. The
Center serves over 450 children each year through its two main services -
medical evaluations and counseling. The Center's range of services are delivered
under one roof which helps provide consistency and works to ensure that no child
or family falls through the cracks. The Kid's Center also provides consulting
and training for other such facilities.

Vision: Creating a community of confident girls empowered to
make a difference in their world.
Mission Statement: Girls Go Outside is a 501(c)3 non-profit
based in Bend, OR. Our mission is to empower middle school girls to build and
maintain self esteem through outdoor adventure and community service
learning. Creating a community of confident girls who are empowered to make a
difference in their world is what guides the development of Girls Go Outside
programming.
Demographics: Girls Go Outside works with a broad population of
middle school aged girls (ages 11-14) and recognizes that it takes a diversity
of girls to create a rich experience for everyone in the program. We currently
serve girls through out the greater Bend community. Girls Go Outside is
committed to serving all girls in the community regardless of economic
background and has provided program scholarships for eligible girls for all of
our programs since our inception in 2005.
